Download Galaxy Attack Space Shooter now! Jefftuel86, Last update killed it on the iPhone X. I like this game well enough, and haven’t experienced most of the bugs that are reported on here (although I’ve never tried to actually purchase anything with real money). I would have given it four stars, but had to give it two now that this last update completely broke the game for me. The four star review would have said that this game is a lot of fun and doesn’t have a lot of needless stuff to make it confusing like some of the other similar games I’ve tried.

However, there are a LOT of ads. And a lot of them are pop ups for the game wanting you to buy/unlock stuff for $100!! The unlocks in this game are way, WAY overpriced. I can honestly say I probably would have bought several things on here if they weren’t overpriced so incredibly badly. I’m talking like the cheapest pop up I’ve seen was about $30 to unlock a ship. It’s ridiculous.

This rating, unfortunately, dropped down to two stars today. The update that released a few hours ago made it to where I can’t see the sides of the game on my iPhone X.

I think the developer tried to make it work on the X, but instead of making the app longer for the new screen, he just zoomed in and now you can’t see everything. I tried to contact the dev and nothing. And the link provided here in the App Store goes to a web page that isn’t even running. There’s literally no way to contact him, so I hope he sees this review. Jlg12344, Fun, Challenging, and Nostalgic!!!

🕹 For me the game really takes me back to what I use to play in the arcades when I was a kid. Totally aging myself here, but that is one of the things that makes this game so much fun to play! It has the same seemingly simple gameplay dynamics, combined with modern gaming features like the ability to have your progress saved, permanently upgradable ships, better graphics, multiplayer/singleplayer modes and a great deal more! Also if you are an Achievement ‘Hound’ like I am, then there are plenty of those to be had in this game too!

Now, no game in today’s day and age is perfect, and like all “Free to Play” games out there, the game offers certain packs and other things to buy to make game play “easier,” but as far as I’ve seen, there hasn’t been a reason in which real money was needed to advance in the game. They are also not obnoxious about trying to get you to buy something either, which I personally respect. I do hope they don’t change this aspect of their game, like so many other games have been doing lately. Frankly, not forcing me to have to buy, in order to play a game I enjoy makes be more inclined to buy when I have the money. So Alien Shooter has a double thumbs up 👍🏼 👍🏼 and 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 💫 from me!

GiovanniAlvarenga, Good, but an AD grabber. For some background I’ve been playing the game for about 2 weeks now and have made it to level 17.

Overall it’s a fun game to play and it’s a great way to pass some downtime. However as I passed through levels it become more and more prevalent that the game either wants you to pay for “crystals” or watch the ads. A consistent scenario was that I would make it near the end of the level and a lighting fast missile would come your way and end it making all the work you did for naught.

In which case you’re offered to spend a crystal or watch an AD to revive yourself. You may also find that a wave within the level is impossible unless you’re a computer or of course use the 2 chances offered to revive yourself.

For new players I would suggest taking the offer to double your coins won at the end of a level which trust me you won’t regret in the long run because upgrades become expensive and you definitely need those along with new (stronger) ships. My problem is not that you’re offered to revive yourself through ADs and crystals, but the fact that it seems like the developer is deliberately using programming to make sure you watch some ads for them because human nature am I right?

We hate to lose or waste effort made. After all is said and done I do implore you try the game out yourself. GiovanniAlvarenga, Good, but an AD grabber.
